People of PB Comms with Teressa Le

Meet the team is our blog series that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the people of PB Comms. In each blog we hear from a member of the team about their personal stories, their career and professional insights, and advice for those entering the industry.

Teressa Le joined PritchittBland in February 2025 as account admin but had worked with the company prior as an intern in 2023. In her role with the company, she provides account support to clients including media monitoring, writing press releases, handle social media accounts, as well as a range of office administration tasks. Prior to this she worked as an administrative assistant at Home Fragrance Co. Teressa graduated from the University of Technology with a Bachelor degree in Business, majoring in finance and marketing.

What made you enter the marketing and communications field?

I was drawn to the marketing and communications field because it is constantly evolving, especially with the way brands engage with their audiences and position themselves in the market. When I majored in marketing at university a few years ago, I expected it to be more creative driven but instead found myself writing 30 pages analysisreports.

During my internship at PB Comms three years ago, I realised how different the work was compared to what I had studied at university. It gave me the opportunity to see marketing and communications in action and helped me broaden my perspective beyond theory.

Another aspect that was appealing is the versatility of soft skills I would gain. Even if I didn’t remain in a specific sector of marketing and communications long-term, the abilities I develop are transferrable across industries.

Why do you think financial services PR is important?

For me, financial services PR is all about building trust in an industry where credibility matters most. PB Comms aims to improve financial understanding and PR is a key way to strengthen reputations, make information accessible, and position organisations as trusted advisors. People seek confidence and support when it comes to money, and clear, relatable communication makes that possible.

What’s your favourite place you have travelled to?

I’ve been lucky enough to travel across Europe and Asia, and even briefly live in South Korea. That said, one of my favourite places has to be Italy, particularly Sorrento. I loved swimming along the coasts, exploring the local food and soaking up the Italian sun which made it an unforgettable experience.

What are your current hobbies/activities?

On the weekends, you’ll typically find me doing a coastal walk such as the Malabar Headland coastal walk, taking in the fresh sea air and clear skies. I also love discovering new cafes and bakeries. Most of the time, I am combining both, balancing staying active and indulging in sweet treats.
