American Century Investments has appointed Tom Fellowes to the role of vice president Australia sales, effective 3 April 2025. Based in Sydney, Mr Fellowes will report to head of Asia Pacific, Tom Clapham.  

Mr Clapham said: “Tom brings tremendous experience working with and helping advisers that will enable us to better serve those in the region. He will be an exceptional addition to the team and will be pivotal to broadening American Century's offering in Australia which will soon include Avantis Investors.”

Mr Fellowes has 20 years of experience in the funds management business.  Before joining American Century, he was at Dimensional Funds Advisors for 18 years most recently as vice president and regional director in the Advisor Services team. He also worked as regional cirector at Dimensional Fund Advisors in London and started his career in financial services in 2004 at First State Investments in Edinburgh on the Asia-Pacific and emerging markets investment team.  Over his two decades in the industry, he has developed extensive experience in business development and relationship management, working with financial intermediaries and implementing new business development strategies.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Business Management) from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK.
