Global asset manager Robeco has been appointed by NGS Super to manage a Developed Markets Enhanced Indexing mandate.
Robeco offers enhanced indexing strategies to institutional investors as an attractive alternative to passive investing. This approach has several advantages over traditional passive approaches as portfolios can be customised.
Head of Robeco Australia, Stephen Dennis, said: “Through Robeco’s Enhanced Indexing strategy, we can provide tailored solutions that reflect clients’ sustainability objectives, while also generating attractive returns for their members.
“Robeco and NGS share a deep commitment to best-in-class sustainability practices and we look forward to strengthening our partnership,” he said.
Head of equities, fixed income and alternatives at NGS Super, Lucas Hartmann, said: “We are delighted to be working with Robeco to lower the carbon intensity of the portfolio and deliver strong risk-adjusted returns to our members.”
